Jeff has extensive experience as a principal investor, financier and advisor in private equity funded transactions over his three-decade long career. In addition, Jeff has served as senior advisor and board member to portfolio companies and other organizations, including VB Cosmetics, Inc., the creator of Dazzle Dry®, a revolutionary non-toxic and quick-dry nail polish system. Prior to founding Fortuna Capital, Jeff was a managing director at CIBC World Markets, providing private equity investments, high yield financings and merger & acquisition advisory services totaling over $5 billion and was responsible for investment commitments of $350 million in 12 companies, including structuring the initial $30 million equity investment in Global Crossing which returned $1.9 billion. Prior to CIBC, Jeff was at The Argosy Group, a merchant banking firm founded by senior executives of Drexel Burnham Lambert, and Kidder, Peabody & Co. Jeff graduated from Harvard University with an AB degree magna cum laude in International and Development Economics and was a Presidential Scholar.

Shane is a seasoned private equity investment professional with over fifteen years of intimate experience in all aspects of the private equity life cycle, including deal sourcing, transaction evaluation, financial analysis, structuring and fundraising, legal documentation and transaction execution. In this role he actively works directly with portfolio company senior management sourcing and evaluating add-on acquisitions, debt and equity financing, operational monitoring, budgeting, financial reporting, and general corporate consulting. Shane graduated from the University of Richmond summa cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Economics from the Robins School of Business.
